Diminished Value in Indiana
The state of Indiana will recognize a diminished value claim if you make a claim within six years of your accident. The state will also recognize uninsured drivers who file a claim, which most states do not. Rather obviously, you must not be the driver who caused the accident because the state will not recognize you in your claim. See the case below for some history of diminished value in the state.
